Programme Manager

Brief Description
Provides the programme for each production, including design, content, print and delivery, and organises volunteers to sell programmes during performances
Knowledge
  • Appropriate publishing software
Responsibilities
  • Liaise with production director for information about the production, including cast and musical numbers
  • Design programme to be consistent with design of posters, etc
  • Create programme electronically using appropriate software which will deliver output in a format suitable for printing
  • Write programme content to be of interest to audience
  • Arrange photographer to take cast photos
  • Send draft of completed programme to production director for approval
  • Arrange programme sellers and float from Treasurer
  • Send completed programme to printers in good time for delivery before the production
  • Deliver programmes to theatre in advance of first night

Get list of programme sponsors (where applicable)

Collect programmes from printers
Arrange programme sellers and obtain float from Treasurer
Dress rehearsal
Deliver programmes and float to theatre
